A Digital Tribute to Cuban Son: Kreotuweb Presents the New Website of the Orquesta Aragón

At Kreotuweb, we have the honor of having worked closely with a musical institution that is synonymous with Cuban culture: the legendary Orquesta Aragón. Our most recent project consisted of designing and developing the official website for this group, a digital space that reflects its elegance, history, and the unmistakable rhythm of its music.

This was not just another project; it was a responsibility to history. Our challenge was to create a platform that was as timeless and vibrant as the danzón, the cha-cha-cha, and the son that the Orchestra champions.

Design: Timeless Elegance and Modern Usability

The design approach focused on honoring the Orchestra’s rich heritage while ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.

• Visual Aesthetics: We opted for a sober and elegant color palette, where dark and gold tones evoke the orchestra’s class and tradition. The selected typefaces are clean and legible, with classic touches reminiscent of vinyl record covers.

• Visual Hierarchy: History and music take center stage. We implemented a design that prioritizes the display of historical and archival photographs, as well as immediate access to their discography and videos of their performances.

• Immersive Experience: We integrate high-fidelity audio and video players, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the sound of Aragon from the very first moment.

Development: The Power of WordPress, Customized to the Detail

To ensure flexibility, scalability, and easy content management, we chose WordPress as our primary engine.

• WordPress as a CMS: We developed a custom and easy-to-use backend, allowing the Orquesta Aragón team to update news, events, galleries and music without the need for advanced technical knowledge.

Performance and Speed:

• We meticulously optimize the site to achieve ultra-fast loading times, an essential feature for both user experience and SEO. We use caching and image optimization techniques to guarantee exceptional performance.

Responsive Design:

• The site adapts perfectly to any device, from desktop computers to tablets and smartphones. Aragón’s passion for music should be accessible on any screen.
